EURAMET e.V. and the EMPIR members invite interested parties to submit normative topics.
Stage 1 offers the chance for all stakeholders from any country to influence the R&D projects undertaken by the European metrology community by identifying the challenge, problem or opportunity for potential normative topics (PRT).
The highest priority normative topics received in Stage 1 will provide the basis for Stage 2.
To submit a PRT please upload your completed Word document (using the template provided), via the Stage 1 submit tab, by the deadline of 18 February 2019 23:59 CET
In preparation for this call, EURAMET invited organisations with an interest in standardisation to submit briefing material to inform those submitting potential research topics.
The CEN/CENELEC priority research topics can be found below:
|1||Metrology for low-frequency sound insulation of facades of buildings|
|2||Metrology for key control characteristics of graphene|
|3||Metrology for the determination of emissions of dangerous substances into indoor air|
|4||Metrology for advanced theoretical models including quantum effects to describe laser-induced damage on the nano scale|
|5||Metrology for the validation for determining the output in concentration of elemental mercury (Hg0) and oxidized mercury (Hg2+) generators|
|6||Metrology for footwear specifications|
|7||Metrology for footwear and footwear components slip resistance tests|
|8||Metrology for the determination of aerobic disintegration and biodegradation of footwear and footwear materials under controlled composting conditions|
|9||Metrology for assessing the accuracy performance of Instrument Transformers intended to be used for Power Quality measurements.|
|10||Metrology for the determination of traceable disturbance emissions in reverberation chambers for conformity assessment purposes|
The CIE priority research topics can be found below
|1||Metrology for determination of light and radiation in LED lamps, luminaires, and modules|
|2||Metrology for quantifying temporal light modulation|
|3||Metrology for the calibration and characterization of luminance measurements for HDR-cameras|
|4||Metrology for the performance of light dosimeters when monitoring non-visual effects and related visual effects|
Further detailed needs are being collected by CEN and CENELEC and CIE will be published here as they become available. Please check this page for updates during the call.
