The laboratory has necessary infrastructure for radiation protection metrology including Cs-137 and X-RAY (40-320 kV).
We are interested to be a partner in this consortium.
We have experience in project management and coordination too.

Ionizing Radiation Laboratory of GUM maintains standards:
for air kerma of low- and medium- energy x-ray (ranges below 10kV, from 10kV to 60kV, from 30kV to 320kV)
for air kerma of gamma radiation (Cs-137 and Co-60)
for absorbed dose to water
Ionizing Radiation Laboratory designs and manufactures electronic systems, measurement systems and ionizing radiation detectors (ionization chambers, graphite and water calorimeters).

VINS is a member of SSDL network and has active participation in EURADOS and TC-IR. VINS provides a wide range of services - equipment calibration, operational dosimetry, personal dosimetry, workplace monitoring, radon measurements etc, and has a wide network of contacts within the radiation protection community in the region and Europe
VINS experts provide inputs for laws, bylaws and other documents and standards on national and international level
Stakeholders: regulatory body, technical services, hospitals, industry, recycling plants, security forces
