The following declaration must be made by the user when registering an interest in an SRT/SNT

  • I (the user) understand that by registering an interest in this SRT/SNT that the connections data (First Name, Family Name, Institute Name, Country and Email address) I provide will be accessible to users of the MSU website as follows.
    • First Name and Family Name will be visible against the specific SRT/SNT
    • First Name, Family Name, Institute Name, Country and Email address will be accessible to download in an excel file by any other users who have registered an interest. This will only be possible during the lifetime of the connections tool for specific call.
  • The connections data is only required so that consortia can be formed during the preparation phase of proposals for Stage 2 of an EMPIR Call. It will not be used for any marketing purposes.
  • EURAMET (data controller) will keep the connections data for 5 years after the end of the EMPIR programme (end of programme defined as last payment made) as required by the European Commission (EC).

2020-07-24. Jochen Vogl BAM We have established a quantification method for pure proteins by applying sulphur isotope dilution mass spectrometry. This quantification is only suitable to pure proteins, where the structure and sequence is known. In addition to the sulphur quantification, the mass fraction of the non-protein bound sulphur has to be determined. In previous analysis we noticed significantly lower protein contents than stated by the commercial provider.
2020-06-30. Filipe Ferreira da Silva NOVA University Lisbon Experience in electron indices reactions and dissociative electron attachment. Experimental studies on electron ionisation and dissociative electron attachment in the energy range below 100 eV. The set-up used to perform such studies consist in a trochoidal electron monochromator (energy resolution ~100 meV), coupled with reflection time of flight mass spectrometer. We are able to perform gas phase studies in order to determine ionisation thresholds, as well as to characterise fragmentation pathways triggered by low energy electron interactions. Negative ion yields can also be described as function of the incident electron energy allowing to infer about molecular structure and resonate electron capture.
