|2019-07-02.||Norman Durny||IBA Dosimetry SSDL||IBA Dosimetry SSDL is a member of IAEA SSDL Network, located in Germany.
Laboratory is equipped with two Co-60 irradiarors, X-ray irradiator 20-300 keV (RQR, RQA, RQT, TH, TW) and Elekta linac (photons 15 MeV, electrons 18 MeV), several dosimeters, electrometers, ionising chambers and other equipment. Laboratory is providing calibrations for end-users (hospitals, universities, research laboratories).
IBA Dosimetry is a manufacturer of IR measuring devices (reference and relative dosimeters and ionising chambers, 2D arrays and detectors, water phantoms, softvare solutions, for medical use of IR) and besides own R&D cooperates with universities and hospitals.
Three experienced scientific staff members directly from SSDL staff, and R&D department staff members can contribute to the network.
|2019-06-28.||Michal Derlacinski||GUM||GUM (Główny Urząd Miar/Central Office of Measures) is the Polish National Metrology Institute.
Ionizing Radiation Laboratory of GUM maintains standards:
for air kerma of low- and medium- energy x-ray (ranges below 10kV, from 10kV to 60kV, from 30kV to 320kV)
for air kerma of gamma radiation (Cs-137 and Co-60)
for absorbed dose to water
Ionizing Radiation Laboratory designs and manufactures electronic systems, measurement systems and ionizing radiation detectors (ionization chambers, graphite and water calorimeters).
|2019-06-21.||Olivera Ciraj Bjelac||Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences||SSDL of Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences (VINS) has a status of DI within national metrology system of Republic of Serbia. The laboratory has experience in calibration of dosimeters use din radiotherapy (Co-60 and low and medium energy x rays) and in diagnostic radiology (all modalities). The laboratory staff extensively collaborates with hospitals in the area of dosimetry and medical radiation physics, both on the level of scientific research and on routine medical physics work.
Four (4) scientific staff member, with experience (EURADOS, TC-IR, IAEA) can contribute to the network. VINS is equipped with standard SSDL features (Co-60 source, continual X ray unit in the range of 10-225 kV and a number of dosemters and electrometers of reference class), as well as a number of clinical dosemeters, phantoms, KAP meter, CT chamber, gafchromic films...).
VINS staff provide inputs for laws, bylaws and other documents (national/international level).
