The following declaration must be made by the user when registering an interest in an SRT/SNT

  • I (the user) understand that by registering an interest in this SRT/SNT that the connections data (First Name, Family Name, Institute Name, Country and Email address) I provide will be accessible to users of the MSU website as follows.
    • First Name and Family Name will be visible against the specific SRT/SNT
    • First Name, Family Name, Institute Name, Country and Email address will be accessible to download in an excel file by any other users who have registered an interest. This will only be possible during the lifetime of the connections tool for specific call.
  • The connections data is only required so that consortia can be formed during the preparation phase of proposals for Stage 2 of an EMPIR Call. It will not be used for any marketing purposes.
  • EURAMET (data controller) will keep the connections data for 5 years after the end of the EMPIR programme (end of programme defined as last payment made) as required by the European Commission (EC).

2020-07-07. Sims Ryan Power Networks Demonstration Centre PNDC (University of Strathclyde) is a research and demonstration facility specializing in smart grid technologies, based in Glasgow, Scotland.

We have worked on projects relating to test and demonstration of EV charging stations, inluding fast AC, rapid DC, and wireless charging technologies. Our role in these projects has included high-resolution measurement of EVSE power supplies for non-intrusive load monitoring, harmonic and EMF testing of wireless bus chargers, and performance testing of on-street retractable EV chargers. We have also completed a number of modelling and simulation projects around smart charging network level impacts of EVSEs.

Some capabilities and facilities relevant to this opportunity:
- Configurable 11kV and LV distribution network (45Hz 62Hz, and 9.5kV - 13kV)
- 540kVA bi-directional power converter with real-time digital simulator for PHIL
- 50kW rapid charger
- 22kW rapid charger
- 7kw fast chargers
- Wireless charer bay (Inductive: 100kW, 20kHz)

2020-06-23. Braise TRINCAZ LNE The LNE operates as the national reference laboratory in metrology for French industry.

COFRAC accredited electrical laboratory has experience in various calibration domains like power and energy, especially electrical meters, high voltage and current, magnetism, high frequency etc.

In certification domain, LNE is French notified body for Directive 2014/32/EU for certification of active electrical energy meters.
LNE is French designated body for certification of industrial electrical energy meters
LNE is actively participating of
WELMEC groups 11, 7 and 8.
OIML TC12 for active electrical meters
AFNOR/UF 13 commission for Electrical energy measurement and control

LNE is currently working for elaborating proposals at national level for the evaluation of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations with DC meters.

In Environmental test domains, LNE has several climatic chambers, vibrating installation, and EMC equipment (programmable power supplies, anechoic chambers, generators...)

- sources of traceable time for EVCS,
