GDPR Declaration

The following declaration must be made by the user when registering an interest in an SRT/SNT

  • I (the user) understand that by registering an interest in this SRT/SNT that the connections data (First Name, Family Name, Institute Name, Country and Email address) I provide will be accessible to users of the MSU website as follows.
    • First Name and Family Name will be visible against the specific SRT/SNT
    • First Name, Family Name, Institute Name, Country and Email address will be accessible to download in an excel file by any other users who have registered an interest. This will only be possible during the lifetime of the connections tool for specific call.
  • The connections data is only required so that consortia can be formed during the preparation phase of proposals for Stage 2 of an EMPIR Call. It will not be used for any marketing purposes.
  • EURAMET (data controller) will keep the connections data for 5 years after the end of the EMPIR programme (end of programme defined as last payment made) as required by the European Commission (EC).

Giorgio Ficco UniversitÓ di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale The Research Unit of Mechanical and Thermal Measurements of the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio operates in the following areas: i) Temperature measurements, ii) Mass and volume measurements, iii) Measurement of fluid flow rate, iv) Measurement and accounting of energy consumption, v) ii) Legal Metrology. In particular, in the field of flow measurements, field activities and research projects at national and international level have been developed for: i) the measurement of natural gas in the transport and distribution networks, ii) the verification of thermal energy meters and iii) verification of fuel dispenser through indirect gravimetric calibration technique. Research projects have recently been launched for: i) development of Power to Gas technology in natural gas transmission networks, ii) measurement of LNG in the transport sector. The flow measurement laboratory of the University of Cassino is also accredited for the gas volume sector.
