The following declaration must be made by the user when registering an interest in an SRT/SNT

  • I (the user) understand that by registering an interest in this SRT/SNT that the connections data (First Name, Family Name, Institute Name, Country and Email address) I provide will be accessible to users of the MSU website as follows.
    • First Name and Family Name will be visible against the specific SRT/SNT
    • First Name, Family Name, Institute Name, Country and Email address will be accessible to download in an excel file by any other users who have registered an interest. This will only be possible during the lifetime of the connections tool for specific call.
  • The connections data is only required so that consortia can be formed during the preparation phase of proposals for Stage 2 of an EMPIR Call. It will not be used for any marketing purposes.
  • EURAMET (data controller) will keep the connections data for 5 years after the end of the EMPIR programme (end of programme defined as last payment made) as required by the European Commission (EC).

Florian Wohlgemuth Institute of Manufacturing Metrology, Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg Our experience is in dimensional metrology (CT, optical, tactile and nano-/microscale). Concerning CT, our research focuses on aspects of detectability (e.g. structural resolution) and on simulation of the CT acquisition process using aRTist 2 by the German Federal Institute of Materials Research and Testing BAM.
We have an accredited laboratory for tactile calibration, different optical sensors (with a focus on the micro-/nanoscale) and a metrological CT device (Zeiss Metrotom 1500).
We have been participating in the EMPIR MetAMMI project and are participating in the EMPIR AdvanCT project. We are part of the German Collaborative Research Center 814 - Additive Manufacturing.
We are interested in accompanying the project as collaborator.
2020-06-22. Stefan Grottker Fraunhofer IAPT The Fraunhofer IAPT (Institute for additive production technologies) develops technologies and methods to qualify additive manufacturing for industrial application.
Thanks to many years of experience in AM and a wide range of in house available machines and devices, the Frauhofer IAPT can contribute different elements to the project:
- AM machines of different sub-categories: L-PBF, DED, SLS, Binder Jetting, EBM, etc.
- Post-Processing: eroding, sandblasting, stress relief heat treatment
- In-Process sensors: meltpool emissions, structured light topology, OCT, thermography, high speed cameras, etc.
- Post-process part assessment: microsections (microscopic), 3D-topology (Laser scanning microcope), penetration testing, roughness (perthometer, 3D-microscopy, Laser scanning microscope), geometry (3D-lasertriangulation, CMM), etc.
- design of specimens
- capability to produce realistic part defects on purpose
- participation in AM-stadardization-commitees
- knowledge of industrial needs

2020-06-12. Daniel Kanzler Applied Validation of NDT Applied Validation of NDT has over 10 year experience in nondestructive testing, reliabilty evaluation and stuctural quality management evaluations for critical components.
The detailed knowledge in reliability of testing systems ensures the quality of the whole production process and enlarges the lifetime of the component.
We are specialist in the state-of-the-art evaluation of non-destructive testing systems.

Especially in this project we are able to do highend consulting in how to gain the probabilistic evaluation in the case of few data and how to develop the probabilistic evaluation of XCT. The XCT topic is still an issue for research, however, our extensive knowledge in other NDT evaluations will help.
2020-06-12. Daniel Kanzler Applied Validation of NDT AV-NDT is expert in the field of reliabilty in NDT. With over 10 years of experience, they also organise the next international workshop on reliabilty of NDT and lead the ICNDT specialist group of Reliability.
