Experimental studies on electron ionisation and dissociative electron attachment in the energy range below 100 eV. The set-up used to perform such studies consist in a trochoidal electron monochromator (energy resolution ~100 meV), coupled with reflection time of flight mass spectrometer. We are able to perform gas phase studies in order to determine ionisation thresholds, as well as to characterise fragmentation pathways triggered by low energy electron interactions. Negative ion yields can also be described as function of the incident electron energy allowing to infer about molecular structure and resonate electron capture.|
