|2020-07-05.||Markus Richter||Chemnitz University of Technology||The applied thermodynamics group at Chemnitz University of Technology operates measurement technology for highly-accurate density measurements with particular focus on dew-point densities. Moreover, microwave technology is employed for dew point detection; a technique that can be potentially pushed to industrial application. Currently, a microwave cell is being under development that will enable to measure both, dew points and bubble points. We have experience with thermophysical property measurements of hydrogen and hydrogen enriched natural gas as well as other mixtures containing hydrogen and those being rich in carbon dioxide. Furthermore, we are experienced in thermodynamic modeling (development of equations of state and molecular dynamic simulations) and are closely collaborating with the developers of NIST's REFROP as well as with the experimentalists of the Thermophysical Properties of Fluids Group (Applied Chemicals and Materials Division).|
