GDPR Declaration

The following declaration must be made by the user when registering an interest in an SRT/SNT

  • I (the user) understand that by registering an interest in this SRT/SNT that the connections data (First Name, Family Name, Institute Name, Country and Email address) I provide will be accessible to users of the MSU website as follows.
    • First Name and Family Name will be visible against the specific SRT/SNT
    • First Name, Family Name, Institute Name, Country and Email address will be accessible to download in an excel file by any other users who have registered an interest. This will only be possible during the lifetime of the connections tool for specific call.
  • The connections data is only required so that consortia can be formed during the preparation phase of proposals for Stage 2 of an EMPIR Call. It will not be used for any marketing purposes.
  • EURAMET (data controller) will keep the connections data for 5 years after the end of the EMPIR programme (end of programme defined as last payment made) as required by the European Commission (EC).

I understand the contents of the declaration and am happy to continue.

2019-07-03. Andreas Weissenbrunner Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt PTB Flow measurements (laser-optical, ultrasonic) from 5 to 1000 m/h and 3 to 90 C with a gravimetric reference.
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations and modeling of the flow meter to determine uncertainties and correction factors for specific installation conditions.
2019-06-27. Cristina Prieto Abengoa As a worldwide renown company in the CSP sector, Abengoa can provide its extensive experience in the design, construction and operation of CSP plants.
Specifically for this call, Abengoa can offer the end-user point of view, the specifications a company will require for the instrumentation and its experience in the implementation of newly developed technology. Abengoa has different CSP plants on which the equipment could be installed for testing.
Also, with its wealth of experience, Abengoa can identify possible interferences between the proposed equipment and the already installed in a CSP plant.
2019-06-25. John Frederiksen Danish Technological Institute Flow measurement using clamp on ultrasound, and Laser Doppler Velocimetry . Currently possibility to calibrate clamp on flow meters in the range from 4 C to 85 C and flowrates up to 1000 m/h
Phosphor thermometry to traceably measure the surface temperature of the pipes and containers used for molten salt simultaneously and at multiple locations. Detailed knowledge of the surface temperature distribution with a small uncertainty will be used to model the temperature of the molten salt inside the pipe/container.
Development of methods for the determination of thermophysical properties of thermal energy storage materials. DTI is DI for temperature and has previously participated in thermophysical investigations of phase-changing materials (PCMs) for energy storage.
2019-06-24. Steffen Rudtsch Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) multi-point temperature measurements in molten salt
2019-06-16. Bruno Hay LNE Solar absorptance measurements at room and high temperatures (up to 800 C).
Near-normal spectral emissivity from room temperature to 750 C.
Thermophysical properties of materials from 23 C to 2000 C
2019-06-13. Jochen Manara ZAE Bayern Directional spectral emissivity measurements as a function of wavelength, angle and temperature at room and high temperatures up to 1000 C under vacuum (or air atmosphere). Total hemispherical emissivity and solar absorptance at room and high temperatures.
Thermophysical properties (specific heat, thermal conductivity) at room and high temperatures (up to 1000 C).
Creating impact using existing industrial contacts with respect to functional materials and solar absorption-coatings for increasing the energy efficiency.
2019-06-07. Nolwenn FLEURENCE LNE Solar absorptance measurements at room and high temperatures (up to 800 C).
Near-normal spectral emissivity from room temperature to 750 C.
Total hemispherical emissivity.
Thermal properties at room and high temperatures (up to 2000C)
2019-06-06. Jacques Hameury LNE Solar absorptance measurements at room and high temperatures (up to 800 C).
Near-normal spectral emissivity from room temperature to 750 C.
Total hemispherical emissivity.
